Equation Corp Limited was incorporated in Singapore on 26 June 1975 under the name of Heshe Enterprises Pte Ltd and was subsequently renamed as Heshe Holdings Pte Ltd and then as Heshe Holdings Limited upon conversion to a public limited company on 24 March 1992.
On 26 September 2006, the Company changed its name to Equation Corp Limited.
The Group used to be engaged in food and beverage, garment manufacturing, the import, export and wholesale of ready-made wearing apparel, the retail of wine and wine related products. While the Group is still engaged in the property investment and development business, it has scaled down this area of its business in recent years.
The principal activity of the Company is that of an investment holding company. The Group's current core business segments include:
